Overclocking
We needed little time and no added voltage to get a hefty overclock in place. EVGA's core didn't quibble at running with a 1,378MHz boost, and the 6GB of GDDR5 memory managed an effective 8,200MHz. It's nice to know the extra headroom is there, but such knowledge reinforces our belief that this card could have been clocked higher in its out-the-box state.
The overclock takes very little effort and in some cases performance is increased by as much as 15 per cent. Not a bad return for a few minutes of tinkering.
