XT #2 = XT #1. The PRO trades places with the 6600 GT depending on the test settings, both coming out pretty equal. The 5900 PCX is fairly respectable in this test too, but the newer products all show it who's boss.

In 3DMark03, which makes heavier use of shaders and rendering techniques found in some recent games, the 6600 GT is more of a match for both tested XTs. The PRO is very competitive with both those products at 1600x1200, its memory density helping it extract some extra performance the 128MB boards can't find. When we're less memory-size limited, the X700 XT is either 11% faster (linked to core clock increases at the initial setting) or 20% faster (at the median setting) than the PRO.
