Belatedly launched on PC, GTA V takes us back to the free-roaming world of Los Santos and combines genre-defining gameplay with fantastic visuals. It's no surprise this is one of the best-selling video games of all time.
GTX 970 is about 10 per cent better in GTA V. Don't let that get in the way of the message that the R9 390 is more than quick enough to muster very acceptable frame rates at the QHD resolution.
