Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory performance and overclocking

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory results are interesting. GeForce 8800 GTX, irrespective of interpretation, is beaten out by CrossFire-on-a-card that is the Sapphire X1950 Pro Dual. Only the GeForce 8800 GTS 320s fail to produce an average framerate in excess of 60FPS.

Dialing in HDR but remove antialiasing, we see the NVIDIA cards improve their performance. The Sapphire Pro's CrossFire limitations with SC come into play and relegate it to last place.

Performance summary

The ASUS AquaTank has remained around 10 per cent faster than a regular GTX and somewhere in the region of 5 per cent faster than the XFX XXX Edition.
