Overclocking
We should take our overclocking results with a pinch of salt as Palit's sample is donning a sticker that reads "Promotion Item, Not For Sale." There's a chance our review card is cherry-picked, but nonetheless, we're seeing impressive overclockability.
With very little effort we quickly had the card configured with base and boost frequencies of 1,300MHz and 1,389MHz, respectively, while memory went up to an effective 8,200MHz.
With the overclock in place we see an average performance uplift of 13 per cent. Not bad going at all, and 4,881 is the highest 3DMark 4K score that we've recorded from a GTX 980 Ti.
