Overclocking

We can only overclock the core alone: AMD doesn't provide the knobs by which to change the frequency of the HBM memory. We managed to eke out an extra 90MHz on the core, however, and here's what effect it had on three benchmarks run at 4K.

Performance is so close at the 4K resolution that any reasonable overclock generally vaults the Fury X above both Titan X and 980 Ti. Being even-handed, both those GPUs are also available in pre-overclocked form via partners and in the case of the GTX 980 Ti overclock significantly better.
