Quake 4 performance







Our Quake 4 v1.30 netdemo places a larger load on the cards than our previous v1.04 run-through. Still, we see the iChiLL stomping ahead, with the overclocked XFX Fatal1ty 7600GT able to beat out the ASUS X1950 Pro at 1600x1200. Quake 4 has always been a showcase for NVIDIA, strong as its GPUs are in OpenGL. Barring the Radeon X1650 XT, all cards produce decent average framerates.
