The 2013 Tomb Raider reboot has received critical acclaim and, with the aid of Crystal Dynamics' game engine, helps bring Lara Croft to life with stunning character models and believable worlds. We run a 45-second benchmark using the Ultra-quality preset.
Not all games have such demanding memory requirements. Tomb Raider is less strenuous and runs ultra-smooth at FHD and reasonably smooth at a QHD resolution. Still, if you're looking to spend up to £200 on a graphics upgrade, R9 280X remains a quicker option.
