Notes

We're comparing the two review GeForce 8800 GTXs against one another and to an 8800 GTS, 7950 GX2, and Radeon X1950 XTX from ASUS, ASUS and Sapphire, respectively.

We've not included another GeForce 8800 GTX because performance - as you will see between the OCZ and ECS cards - is virtually identical. Adding a further card will not benefit performance analysis.

No problems to report during installation, stress-testing or overclocking. Let's move on to the graphs.
