Racing games can offer dazzling visuals when delivered at buttery-smooth framerates. Grid Autosport is a prime example and is benchmarked with maximum quality settings plus 8xMSAA at 1080p and 2xMSAA at 4K.

Small gains in core frequency are well illustrated by the Grid Autosport benchmark. There's still hardly anything in it, but if you're being picky, Gigabyte's G1 Gaming leads the way, followed by MSI's Gaming 4G in second place and the Asus Strix in third. But really, we're talking an extra frame here or there.

The same order is established at 4K. The key point here is that MSI's card is 11 per cent quicker than reference and able to return a lovely 60 frames per second. No previous-generation single-GPU solution has that capability.
