Presentation and Bundle
Presentation wise, being a mid-range product with the appropriate wallet-friendly price tag, Gainward haven't gone over the top on the board packaging or bundle contents. We've seen her before on their 5200 box and she's a cute feature on their other board boxes too, so it's no surprise to see the same art here.
The box detailing lets you know it's a Golden Sample, magically able to overclock to hitherto unseen heights. Or something. 5900XT, TV-Out and 128MB of memory we knew from the start.
The bundle contents are either infuriatingly sparse, or just right, depending on your point of view. You get nothing extra, past the essentials needed to get the card up and running. That means you get power splitter, DVI-to-VGA adaptor and an S-Video-to-Composite convertor for the TV-out port.
The driver CD is just that, a driver CD and little else. You get 52.16 and 53.03 drivers to choose from, should you be unable to hit NVIDIA.com for the latest Detonator set. ExpertTool is on there too, for tweaking the bejesus out of things, including those all important Golden Sample clocks, factory approved.
And that's it. The board, reused box art and packaging we've seen before, along with a sparse bundle to get you going. They're going for a specific price point and it shows, but that's definitely no bad thing.
