Open-world gaming at its very best, Far Cry 3 redefines the genre through breathtaking visuals and first-class gameplay.
Far Cry 3 proves to be hard work, too, though once again the Radeon's frame-buffer size advantage doesn't appear to be paying dividends. When using the game's ultra-quality preset, paying around £80 extra for the GeForce returns on average a performance increase of 23 per cent.

At 4K, the difference between 31 fps and 38 fps can be felt, and looking closely at framerate timing reveals why. MSI's card is able to render practically even frame in a timely manner, with the slowest one per cent clocking in at an acceptable 30.3ms (33 fps). The Radeon struggles in this title and churns out less than half the frames in the desired time.

Amazing graphics and buttery-smooth gameplay makes GRID 2 one of the best racers around.
Not all games are as demanding as the likes of Crysis 3 and Far Cry 2. GRID 2 looks and plays fantastically well on both cards at 4K, even with 4xMSAA and Ultra quality settings.

Getting into the nitty-gritty suggests that the GeForce technically provides a slightly smoother experience, but there's really nothing in it, both cards deliver the goods in this title and you'd do well to tell them apart.
