Benchmarks - Total War: Rome II

Providing an excellent mix of strategy and action, Total War: Rome II's epic turn-based gameplay can swallow hours of your life.

Reinforcing what we saw earlier, a single Palit GTX 780 JetStream is about the same speed as a Radeon R9 290X. The two cards are faster than anything other than the beastly R9 295X2, which is able to maintain high frequencies due to the use of watercooling.

More power means more sub-33ms frames.

Having two cards is really beneficial in Total War: Rome II when run at 4K with ultra-quality settings. However, we continue to see no evidence that a 6GB framebuffer is making the game any smoother than the 3GB present on the GTX 780 Ti.
