Overclocking

So, how good an overclocker is the Radeon R7 265? Keeping voltage at default, Sapphire's card is quietly impressive in this regard, with the core and memory scaling from 925/5,600MHz to 1,120/6,500MHz with ease. The high frequencies ought to have the R9 270X scared, you would think.

Sapphire's Dual-X just misses out on top spot. Performance increases by a healthy 15 per cent for both tests. Remember what we said about product positioning? A well-overclocked R7 265 will beat a standard R9 270.
