3DMark 2001SE v330
A quick recap if you've forgotten. The FX 5900, a 0.13-micron part with a 256-bit memory bus, runs at 400/850 for the GPU and memory (128MB - DDR-1) respectively. The FX 5900 Ultra, though, has a 450/850 rating with a whopping 256MB of RAM. The two high-end ATi cards, both based on the older 0.15-micron manufacturing process, make do with lower overall speeds but use a slightly different rendering and image enhancement setup to achieve fluid frame-ratesLet's now cut to the benchmark chase in a hurry. A picture (or graph) can speak up to a thousand words, so let the speaking commence as we look at the stalwart of DirectX benchmarking, 3DMark 2001SE. Both NVIDIA and ATi are known to tweak their drivers for this well-used reviewers' benchmark from Futuremark.

No-one's really going to complain at a 17,000+ score at the default test.
Whacking up antialiasing and anisotropic filtering does little to dampen the OTES' love of 3DMark.
A high resolution and savage image settings finally appear to exact a toll on the 128MB-equipped ABIT OTES FX 5900. Drawing tentative conclusions from an artificial benchmarks that's known to undergo driver tweaking is never a prudent move. Let's move on.
