Unreal Tournament 2003 Demo's in-built benchmark rounds off this bunch of results. Just the flybys are considered here.
Very, very little in it at this machine-limited resolution. Upping the ante with improved visuals now.
The focus has shifted to card grunt and efficiency here. The non-Ultra falls just over 15% behind its more expensive team-mate.
Some real hurt is put on by the savage setting, including 1.92 million pixels and heavy image enhancement. Just imagine the number of reads that card is having to make, and you may have thought that massive bandwidth, pixel-pushing power and effective compression techniques were just marketing gimmicks. Time to think again, although we wonder just how many people dial up the AA and AF at 1600x1200x32.
