Unreal Tournament 2003, one of the most gorgeous games currently available, has an excellent demo with an in-built benchmark. We're concentrating on the flybys here.

The Gainward starts to flex its bandwidth and pure grunt here.
It just manages to keep ahead of the 9800 Pro, as it has done in the majority of benchmarks when heavy image enhancement was employed. Of course, we're using a standard set of benchmarks, ones that both ATi and NVIDIA are well aware of. The results obtained on the preceding pages are not a perfect indicator of the cards' games-playing ability. The benchmarks seek to test if the cards can put their respective merits to good use and it appears that both the Gainward FX 5900 Ultra and 9800 Pro are fantastic video cards. The 9700 Pro isn't all that far behind, either.
