Code Creatures

When you fire up this benchmark, you can see the cards roll their eyes at the beating that's about to ensue. Base first, just for giggles.

FX 5900 can't quite shift in to top gear here sadly and remains the meat in an high end ATI sandwich, not for the first time in this review either. If you've been paying attention, you know the reasons why. Sub-optimal render method for the architecture and not enough clock to make up for it.

Whee, good texturing performance lets the MSI take the lead in style. PD graph will show you why. The midrange contenders are flailing wildly, wondering why I hate them so much. They wont like the next test then.

GPU genocide, expect to see me in a war-crimes trial in the Hague at some point in the future for that mess.

Here's the PD graph to explain why the FX 5900 flexes its muscles.

Good performance from the NVIDIA boards when asked to apply IQ, Code Creatures is simply setup nicely for the render architecture. It all goes to hell when the pixel count is increased, especially for both NVIDIA boards. Another case where FX 5900 is 5600 Ultra on large amounts of steroids. It's all about the render setup. Good job Code Creatures is about as indicative of real world performance as I am in terms of showing off the prowess of the human race. Last benchmark now, yay.
