Making a really good case for game of the year already, BioShock is fantastically playable and looks great on the PC. We benchmark a 40-second section near the start.

The GTX 680 managed to match the Radeon HD 7970 GHz in BioShock, according to our previous findings, so adding a bit more extra frequency spice nudges the GTX 770 ahead - not that you'll be able to see the difference.

We can also take a closer look at the per-second performance of the three similar-performing cards: GTX 770, GTX 680, and HD 7970 GHz, to see if there's any untoward action occurring.

The Radeon has a smoother line at 2,560x1,600, and if it isn't clear already, the higher-clocked GTX 770 beats out its GTX 680 stablemate through a hike in frequency alone.
