Overclocking
We suspect EVGA has cherry-picked the very best GPUs for the Superclocked ACX line, so it's no real surprise to find that there is further overclocking headroom for the more adventurous types. With stock voltages and an increased power target, we were able to add an extra 70MHz to the core and ramp up the 3GB frame buffer to an effective 7,208MHz.
Power consumption rose closer to 350 watts when playing Far Cry 3 with the overclock in place, but those who aren't worried about the 'leccy bill will appreciate being able to squeeze out a few extra frames per second.
