Crysis 3 is a beautiful-looking game that continues to tax high-end systems. We've FRAPS'd a 30-second section near the start of the game, with lashing rain, numerous reflections and full DX11 pomp on show.

Crysis 3's in-game quality has to be knocked down by a healthy amount to enable these cards to produce acceptable frame-rates. Sapphire's HD 7790 ekes out a lead over a GTX 650 Ti by dint of its faster-than-reference clocks.

And even reducing the quality to medium and antialiasing to 2x isn't enough to guarantee a sustained 30fps for the two lower-performing GPUs.

Again, the HD 7850 is a meatier, well-balanced GPU that produces superior frame-rates than a Radeon HD 7790 OC.
