ASUS EAX1900XTX/2DHTV/512M

Board

ASUS have been an ATI partner since late 2003 and offer up a full range of their products on PCI Express. Their X1900 XTX, like the others, is yet another reference example.

ASUS put a sticker on the fan section.

The card runs at reference clocks (650/775), supports dual dual-DVI outputs and VIVO via a Rage Theater 200 IC (out of sight under the cooler) and requires 6-pin auxiliary power from your PSU. Funny, that.

Presentation and Bundle

box

ASUS use a big guy with a packing a huge weapon for their box art. Peter Jackson's monkey movie gets its game shipped with the ASUS, too.

ATI ship the same cable and connector bundle as the others but their software bundle goes a bit further than the rest. You get the aforementioned King Kong, along with driver CD, copy of Snowblind (never played it, sadly), Cyberlink video playback and capture software and a bonus gamepack CD (although with nothing special on it).
