NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GX2 Specs

Each GPU on the GX2 boards is a full G71, which means 8 vertex units, 24 pixel units and 16 ROPs as the primary config.

Clocks sit at 500MHz for each GPU core (across all clock domains), with 600MHz memory clock. That gives the following combined rates. And before you go nuts, I know they're just theoreticals, but they do serve a purpose.

Combined Theoretical Rates for GeForce 7900 GX2 Quad SLI
GeForce 7900 GX2 Quad SLI NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX
Core Clock 500MHz (500MHz VS) 650MHz (700MHz VS)
Memory Clock 600MHz 800MHz
Pixel fillrate 32.0G pixels/sec 10.4G pixels/sec
Texture sampling rate 192.0G samples/sec 62.4G samples/sec
Z-only fillrate 64.0G samples/sec 20.8G samples/sec
Vertex transform rate 4.00G tris/sec 1.40G tris/sec
VP MADD issue rate 16.0G instr/sec 5.60G instr/sec
FP MADD issue rate 96.0G instr/sec 31.2G instr/sec
Memory bandwidth 153.60 GB/sec 56.32 GB/sec

Comfortably the fastest consumer graphics configuration on paper, the performance shown in the table above should translate to the fastest real-world graphics performance. Indeed the setup might well hold that title for all of 2006...
