The Card

So, here we have it, ATI's latest addition to the multimedia capable series, the All-In-Wonder 9000 Pro.

As you can see, ATI really have packed a lot of hardware onto the relatively small in size PCB. One thing that helped with the reduction of clutter is that addition of the Theatre 200 Chip and seemingly smaller TV Tuner, but more on that later.

A quick glance of the cooling on the card illustrates a pretty mundane heatsink and fan combination; this doesn't prove to be an issue because ATI cores typically run quite cool anyway. The RAM chips have no form of cooling integrated, although considering this is a card aimed at the multimedia budget market this doesn't come as a huge surprise. How this will affect the overclocking performance of the card will be investigated later on in the review.

Back view

As you can see, the backside of the PCB remains largely bare, displaying ATI have managed the integrated hardware quite well on the single side. A 128MB version would likely result in additional memory chips being present on the backside of the card, but with the sample being a 64MB version, this wasn't the case.
