UT2003 AA and AF

Not content with AA and anisotopic filtering at 1024x768x32, we'll look at the effects of our settings on UT2003 at 1280x960x32. The higher resolution and more complex graphics should give the Ti 4800-SE some real headaches.

Firstly, no enhancement

Now the usual 2x AA and 4x AF

The Radeons drop by around 50% while the Ti 4800-SE drops by over 60%.

All cards hold on pretty well here. I'm not sure the Ti cards are applying the setting to the letter. Performance-wise, the MSI Ti 4800-SE is a decent enough card without any image enhancement settings applied. Once they are applied, though, the relatively old architecture begins to show its frailties against the newer R300 core. You cannot expect the GeForce4 Ti card to really compete with the powerful rival for long.
