Comanche 4 Intel Platform
Comanche 4 is one benchmark that has shown a real difference to the amount of card RAM. This benchmark, perhaps more so than the others, is a product of both the cards' and system's power. Intel first.
Very similar scores at 1024x768x32 suggesting that we're largely subsystem bound. You could literally throw a blanket over each and every card there. The faster OTES takes a slight lead at 1280x1024. The other cards generally score the same as each other here. One small problem with this benchmark is that it scores can differ by as much as 0.5FPS on two separate runs. That makes true benchmarking a little difficult.
The 64MB 4x AGP Creative does finally show some weakness at 1600x1200x32. The size of textures require more than what the card can offer. Here we see the first indication of why 128MB of on-board memory is crucial for next-generation games.
