The Bot Match test is probably the most worthwhile benchmark of all because it evaluates not only the speed and ability to display landscapes but also includes character movements. It is as close as a benchmark gets to assessing true game play
Throughout the benchmarks the 9500 seems well behind the performance of the Radeon 9700. Clearly the structure of the 9500 is radically different because even with the core and memory speeds matched there is a wide gap in performance.
Despite no competing with the Radeon 9700Pro, the 9500's results are very comparable to the GeForce Ti4600.
