Benchmark: Power, Temperature and Noise
There's not a lot to choose between £250 cards in the system-wide power-draw stakes. A 400W PSU has ample clout to drive a system with a single card.
EVGA's tuned the card's fan to keep noise to a minimum. The under-load temperature could be better - just look at the custom-cooled KFA²'s - but the reported 77°C is over 20°C lower than the thermal threshold, where the card begins to modulate the frequency in order to reduce heat.
The closeness between the physical design of a standard GTX 670 and EVGA's SuperClocked is indirectly confirmed in the noise readings; both cards are very, very quiet.
