3DMark 11 is the latest version of this hugely-popular synthetic benchmark. Making use of DX11 features such as tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading, it provides modern-day results and is available as a free download.
3DMark 11 is the only title in our suite in which the Sapphire card, run with Lethal Boost, doesn't manage to hit the quoted 1,200MHz core speed; the GPU tops out at 1,150MHz. The close proximity of results is shown by a regular Radeon HD 7970 finishing second-from-bottom and the Sapphire Lethal Boosted HD 7970 second-from-top.
