Review: Sapphire HD 7770 Vapor-X OC Edition

Overclocking

Sapphire's out-the-box overclock is decent, but we know that the Radeon HD 7770 can go further. Proving that's the case, we were able to up the cards core and memory frequencies to 1,215MHz and an effective 6,000MHz, respectively, without any increase in voltage.

The overclock provides a noticeable bump in performance, but it isn't quite enough to allow Sapphire's Vapor-X card to leapfrog the unyielding Radeon HD 6850.
