The standalone Aliens vs. Predator benchmark uses DX11 features such as hardware tessellation and advanced shadow sampling to draw and animate everyone's favourite xenomorph.
Aliens vs. Predator is a demanding DX11 title and one that doesn't show the HD 7770 Vapor-X in a particularly favourable light. Sapphire's card is a touch quicker than PowerColor's reference HD 7770, but it's some way off the cheaper HD 6850 and isn't able to deliver the desired minimum average of 30 frames per second when running at a 1,920x1,080 resolution with medium quality settings.
