Quake 4
Our Quake4 test is a rough three minute walk-through of the Strogg reconstruction facility, where the Strogg are assembled.
Again, the GTX 512 is easily the fastest hardware on test, besting the X1800 XT by nearly 35% at 1920x1200. The game is playable at that resolution by everything, the X1800 XT just outrunning the original GTX by a couple of percent at those settings. The tests were conducted at Ultra Quality throughout and the 512MiB boards enjoy their framebuffer size here, along with other advantages they might have.
