Overclocking

Here is where the fun starts. Pushing it further by increasing the power target to 135 per cent and cranking up clocks, the sample managed to run at 1,100MHz core and 6,408MHz memory.

The vagaries of NVIDIA's clocking means the card will actually run higher with GPU Boost factored in. We re-ran Crysis 2 and got the following results:

The overclocked card manages to put almost 15 per cent into a stock GTX 690. Looking at the actual frequencies, as logged by GPU-Z, the core jumps up to 1,269MHz in even the most frenetic sections.
