Introduction

It's always nice to feature a new company at Hexus. While you'll all be familiar with the ABIT's, MSI's and ASUS's of the world, PNY might not be a name you recognise in the world of consumer personal computer hardware.

Their own website makes more of their other business' including mainly memory upgrade supply for a wide range of systems but they also have a graphics card production line, featuring the home and regular consumer side their Verto range of cards.

Covering NVIDIA GPU's, the Verto range covers everything from low end cards like the Vanta and TNT2 (still made in low volume by TMSC for NVIDIA I think) to their high end cards like the Ti4600 GeForce4 and the card featuring in this review, the Ti4400.

We've seen Ti4400's from MSI and Visiontek so far along with Ti4600's from ABIT and MSI so while we've covered the NV25 base here at Hexus so far, there is still room for legitimate coverage of a new card, especially since it's from a company we've never reviewed products from before.

So I'll dispense with discussion about NV25 and the Ti4400 base and we'll move on to the card itself. If you are keen to brush up on NV25 and the Ti4400, check them out in our Graphics Card review section.

PNY have been an NVIDIA partner for quite a while elsewhere around the world so it's no surprise they took up the option to release an NV25 range of products onto the public, like everyone else, to capture a piece of this strong, aggressive market.

Onto the card itself!
