Praised both by critics and gamers, the latest instalment of the Total War series takes strategy enthusiasts back to 16th-century Japan and presents a lavish blend of 3D real-time battles and turn-based management.

Total War: Shogun 2 tells us more of the game; Radeon HD 7750 is perfectly capable at lower resolutions (720p) but it struggles at 1080p when a good amount of image quality is applied.

The few gaming benchmarks tell us what we need to know; neither of our two cards are faster nor slower than AMD's reference board, but it's the next couple of pages that will set them apart.
