Just Cause 2 is one of the older titles in our suite and uses DX10 visuals. It's no longer cutting edge, but it's still a lot of fun and can be used to cross-reference older reviews.

Normalised performance at 19x12 GTX 680 HD 7970 @ 680 speeds HD 7970
100% 89.2% 81.5%

Normalised performance at 25x16 GTX 680 HD 7970 @ 680 speeds HD 7970
100% 97.7% 90.3%

The same-clocked HD 7970 gets very, very close to the GTX 680's numbers at the 1600p setting. AMD makes good use of its memory-bandwidth advantage to reel in the big GeForce fish. NVIDIA will likely retort that its out-of-the-box performance is better than a manually-overclocked HD 7970's... and we can't argue with that.
