Crysis 2 may not have lived up to the expectations set by its predecessor, but with the DX11 patch and high-res textures, it's a gorgeous-looking game.

Was the GTX 680 designed to be one-third faster than GTX 580? It continues to beat out the Radeon HD 7970 by 16 per cent, neatly sandwiching itself between the best Radeon and twin-gun GTX 590. As in Battlefield 3, the GTX 680's lead is pegged back by the HD 7970 when we move from 1,920x1,080 to 2,560x1,600.
As an aside, the HD 6990' s performance continues to be poor in this title.
