Praised both by critics and gamers, the latest instalment of the Total War series takes strategy enthusiasts back to 16th-century Japan and presents a lavish blend of 3D real-time battles and turn-based management.
Total War: Shogun 2's ultra-quality setting demands a GPU has a >1GB framebuffer when run at 2,560x1,600. This is why the two older cards have no score at this setting. It also provides an indirect affirmation that HD 7850 is a 'better' GPU. But this benchmark is also the first time the HD 7850 is beaten at any resolution, pipped to the post by the HD 5850.
