The standalone Aliens vs. Predator benchmark uses DX11 features such as hardware tessellation and advanced shadow sampling to draw and animate everyone's favourite xenomorph.
HD 7870, again, gets pretty close to the GeForce GTX 580, but the HD 7850 loses out to the Radeon HD 6950 by a comfortable margin. Aliens vs. Predator is a game that relies more on sheer GPU grunt than niceties in architecture.
