Batman: Arkham City is a class above many games in the action-adventure genre, marrying gorgeous graphics and strong level design with potent storytelling and a kick-ass selection of gadgets and moves. It looks great in DX11, too.
If multi-GPU scaling was perfect in every game then we'd advise you to go down the two-card route each time. Batman: Arkham City doesn't run well with two cards working in tandem. Perhaps it's a combination of the limitations imposed by a 1GB framebuffer and immature drivers that leads to a sub-par result. Whatever the case, it ain't pretty.
