Benchmarks - overclocking
AMD's press drivers appear to limit the maximum frequencies for a Radeon HD 7750 to 900MHz core and 5,000MHz memory, up from the 800/4,500MHz shipping clocks. We managed to hit a final, stable speed of 880MHz core and 5,000MHz memory. Strangely, this is just shy of the maximum clocks achieved by the reference board that's equipped with a much smaller heatsink.
Much like the AMD card, increasing frequencies does little to improve real-world performance. A Radeon HD 7750 is never going to challenge a truly mid-range GPU such as a Radeon HD 6850 or GeForce GTX 560, no matter how much overclocking takes place.
