The factory overclock and custom cooling ensures that all three non-reference Radeon HD 7950s consume more power than a regular card. The increase isn't huge, and it varies from card to card. Out of three comparison 7950s, Sapphire's HD 7950 OC drew the least amount of power while playing Crysis 2, but there's hardly anything in it.
