Crysis 2 may not have lived up to the expectations set by its predecessor, but with the DX11 patch and high-res textures, it's a gorgeous-looking game.

So why isn't the top-line Radeon markedly faster than the same-clocked HD 7950? We believe it has more to do with AMD keeping a full complement of 32 ROPs on the back-end, which are crucial when running antialising, along with an HD 7970-matching, juicy 384-bit memory bus. We'd go as far as to say that a 1,792-processor Tahiti card, also known as Radeon HD 7950, is better balanced from 'top' and 'bottom' ends, architecturally speaking.
