Harping on about that 15 per cent performance difference between Radeons does have a real-world benefit for the second-rung Radeon. System-wide power-draw is excellent for a truly high-end GPU, coming in at almost 50W below the Radeon HD 7970 and a whopping 78W below the GTX 580. The benefits of a 28nm process, eh.
