Temps and power-draw
The FleX cooler works well in keeping the temperature in check while playing Battlefield 3. The readings are taken after 10 minutes of fast-paced action.
Power-draw
Note just how low the idle consumption is when using a Core i7 2600K-based machine; it's about half that of an X58 platform that we usually fire up for our high-end graphics testing.
We'd normally expect to see AMD's Radeon HD 6970 architecture be far more power-efficient than the equivalent NVIDIA's. This doesn't seem to be as much the case when playing Battlefield 3.
