Overclocking
ASUS's 900MHz factory overclock is useful, but we know NVIDIA's GTX 560 Ti GPU is capable of more.
By upping voltage to 1.075V (up from 1.025V), we were able to hit speeds of a cool 1,000MHz on the core, with memory running at an effective 4,500MHz. Going beyond the 1GHz barrier introduced problems, but the card clearly has room to manoeuvre.
The overclock can have a noticeable impact on performance. The 11 per cent boost in core frequency translates to an almost 11 per cent boost in framerates in Just Cause 2 at 2,560x1,600.
