We've seen the HD 6570 512MB HM generally come up very slightly short when compared to the last-generation HD 5670 in the gaming tests. But the card excels in providing a wholesome performance-per-watt metric.

Evaluated as a system, the HD 5670 pulls almost 20 per cent more juice. The knock-on effect of the HD 6570's relative frugality is a design that can be easily cooled with a small-ish heatsink.
