Power-draw results

Pretty good at idle.

Real-world gaming shows that, still, the top-line GeForce GTX cards pull a greater number of watts than the twin-GPU HD 5970.

GTX 580 and GTX 480 have an equivalent power-draw when under the hammer. No high-end card is pretty in this respect, though. NVIDIA's managed to add around 20 per cent more speed for the same power-draw. If nothing else, that's nifty engineering.
