Benchmark: Aliens vs. Predator
The standalone Aliens vs. Predator benchmark uses DX11 features such as hardware tessellation and advanced shadow sampling to draw and animate everyone's favourite xenomorph.
A 20 per cent boost to the GTX 460 core and an 11 per cent increase to its 1GB frame buffer makes for better results, of course.
At full-HD 1,920x1,080, KFA2's pre-overclocked card manages to increase performance by up to 18 per cent compared to a stock-clocked 1GB alternative. The result puts it almost on par with a Radeon HD 5850 that costs about £25 more.
