Released in November 2009 and breaking sales record after sales record, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 runs deliciously smoothly on all mid-to-high-end cards
We're using FRAPS and benchmarking a 30-second section near the start of the game. All in-game visuals are set to the highest possible.
Benchmarks
The game's a console port and runs via the DX9 path. The minimum frame-rate at 2,560x,1600 for the ASUS card is 64fps, intimating silky-smooth performance. Indeed it's very smooth on all cards.
Unfortunately the GeForce GTX 470 wasn't benchmarked because we were bereft of one at the time - NVIDIA's supply constraints, eh? We'll update this page when a sample lands with us early next week.
